JUNE 2008:

• Instant Star Season 4 will begin airing June 8th on CTV Canada
  and June 1, 2008 in the USA on The N Network.

MAY 2008:

• Laura is currently in Hawaii filming the feature "The Reef."

APRIL 2008:

• Laura was asked to be a part of a panel of Canadians taking photos for Canon for Earth Day. One of her photos is in the National Post newspaper today (Art section) as well. They are also on display at 477 Richmond St W, Toronto for the entire week. Click here to view the photos!

  April 12, 2008 @ Airport Marriot Hotel in Burbank, Ca.
  She will be signing autographs and meeting fans alongside

JANUARY 2008:

• Laura has been honored by "Wizard Magazine" as one of the "23 Hottest Kick Ass Girls on TV" for their January Issue. Check it out.

• Laura recently (January 26th-27th) appeared at the Orlando Comic Convention "FX" for the weekend. Her appearance for autographs and greeting the fans was a wonderful experience.
• Laura is currently still filming Smallville season 7. We all await to see what happens with the writers strike and can only hope for an agreeable agreement. Stay tuned for new episodes of Smallville.
• As i am sure you are all now aware...the next episode Kara Kent will appear in on "Smallville" will be "Fracture"-February 14th on the CW. *** Psst...For a little insider information, Laura's real life boyfriend (actor Corey Sevier) will be guest starring in this episode portraying a character named Finley, whom causes drama for everyone.

DECEMBER 2007:

• I regret to inform you all that I recently was informed by our producers at Instant Star that the show will not continue for a fifth season. It was a great 4 year run and we all look forward to entertaining you in new/other projects. (Dec 24th, 2007)

• CASTING NEWS: Laura recently (July 2007) was cast in the coveted role of "Supergirl" or "Kara" in Smallville's 7th season. She will appear in the seasons premiere and her character will grow as the season progresses. This flying, speeding and trouble causing cousin of Clark Kent, arrives from the planet of  'Krypton' and stirs trouble within the town and Clarks life.
